Cherokee Log Homes Sell only high quality logs. We carry Red heart cypress not white cypress. The red heart cypress grows much slower , the growth rings are tighter, and closer together. The smaller, tighter growth rings result in a stronger more durable log for exterior walls of your home. The red heart cypress tree is by far the premiere log for the construction of your dream home!

The white cypress tree grows very fast and consequently has larger growth rings. The larger growth rings are weaker and more susceptible to decay or rot than the red heart cypress.

Cypress Log Profiles

Cherokee Log Homes offers 9 unique log profiles. We feature logs up to 12” in diameter and a whopping 32 feet in length. Our logs cut from the oldest, strongest part of the tree the center.
